Dear Neighbour,

I have lived in Pollokshields for almost 7 years now and mostly I like it. I live with my husband and get the train into work every day. I know some of my neighbours but not very well. In the beginning I felt that they didn't like me very much and perhaps made assumptions about me that weren't very useful. 

I worry that we do that to each other too often and that we find it difficult to say hello or have a conversation because we are worried about what is different and what we don’t understand. I wonder if we should change this? 

I would be happy to meet my neighbours and get to know them better. I’d love to find out all about them and share the place we live together.
