Dear neighbour,

I hope you will enjoy reading my letter. I had to write this letter to you because I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Asma, I am nine years old. My school teacher’s name is Mrs Chromy and my madrasa teacher name is Baji Nabeela and when ever she is smiling she makes me smile. 

My hobbies are reading books, watching computer and reading the Holy Quran. I have lived in Pollokshields for almost 4 years because I came to Glasgow on December the 6th 2009. My favourite colours are red, pink, yellow, blue and purple. My best friends are Lyba, Afifa and Nimra, I like them because they are kind. I wonder what your name is? I go to St. Albert’s Primary School and I am in primary 5. My favourite subjects are Maths, Art, PE, Topic and health and well-being. I dislike R.E.
