Step 1 – This photo was taken at the very beginning of the process of learning how to screen print. I thought screen printing might be the best way, and most interesting way, to make The Albert Drive Colour Chart and I needed to learn how to do it before I could understand if it was the right process, or not, to use. I did a weekend workshop and then a series of evening classes with Ros Lawless at Glasgow Print Studios where she took us through, in great detail, all the stages involved in screen printing. This image is of the computer work printed out onto acetate which will then be used to expose the screen.
